the brief :
i was approached by spin communications, on behalf of mattel, to quote on a concept for a hotwheels ‘mega track’. mattel wanted to launch a shopping centre tour to get 3-7 year olds excited about the brand. proposed as an aspirational showcase it was never intended that the track feature existing race track products sold by mattel but be a custom uber race experience. during this meeting we were presented with the winning pitch and also informed of a budget of 30k.
